School visits

I am a children’s book author from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. I have ridden horses since I was six years old and fell in love with Dave the horse in 2013. His loveable, goofy character inspired the ‘Dave and Darcy’ series, and I hope he brings as much joy to children as he has to me and my family.

 

The first Dave and Darcy book was published in 2020, and there are now six titles in the series. With subtle messages of kindness, teamwork, bravery and friendship dotted throughout the stories, as well as lots of funny moments, I hope to encourage these positive attributes in children, whilst entertaining the next generation of young readers.

 

Sadly, I am unable to bring Dave to school visits as he works hard at Cotswold Riding for the Disabled during the week (and probably wouldn’t fit in the classroom!) but I will bring my big roller banner so he’ll be there in spirit.
